| This 50’
box car with Bettendorf trucks was built in April 1964, at DSI
shops. This car featured movable bulkheads and DFB loaders, as
well as a cushioned underframe. New York Central was a Class 1
Railroad founded in 1853 and operated until 1968, when it was
merged with long-time rival Pennsylvania, to form Penn Central.
