This
40' despatch stock car with Bettendorf trucks was built in 1929
for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad, commonly
known as the Milwaukee Road. It was a Class I railroad that operated
from 1847 till 1986, before being rolled into the Soo Line Railroad,
now part of Canadian Pacific.
