Built
in 1912, this 40’ boxcar with Archbar trucks was used in automobile
service for Northern Pacific Railway. Northern Pacific was a Class
1 Railroad formed in 1864, and eventually acquired in 1970 by
Burlington Northern Railroad through mergers, which went on to
merge with Santa Fe becoming BNSF.
