These 2-bay covered hoppers with Barber Roller Bearing trucks were built in 1994 for the Chicago & North Western and had a 263,000-pound capacity. Soon they found themselves merged into the Union Pacific fleet of cars. Union Pacific continues to operate today as one of the largest class-1 railroads in America with over 32,000 miles of track.
