| On September
22, 1995, Burlington Northern merged with Atchison, Topeka and Santa
Fe to form one of the largest Class 1 Railroads in North America,
Burlington Northern Santa Fe, known after 2005 simply as BNSF Railway.
In 2020, BNSF Railway celebrated its 25th Anniversary, painting
ten ES44 locomotives in a commemorative paint scheme. This 60’ high-cube
boxcar features a locomotive-inspired paint scheme with legacy locomotive
colors on each end. |
