These 50’
steel side, 14 panel, fixed end gondolas with fishbelly sides
are black with white letteirng and run on Barber Roller Bearing
trucks. Built for Southern Railway in April 1969, this gondola
was later rebuilt by Norfolk Southern into class GS-26A, and used
exclusively for steel slab or coil loading. Norfolk Southern is
a large Class 1 railroad operating 19,400 miles of track across
22 eastern states. |
