This
31’ bay window caboose is yellow with red lettering and
runs on Bettendorf Swing Motion trucks. Built in the late 1950s
for Rock Island, this bay-window caboose was later obtained
by Union Pacific in the late 1970s and painted into UP’s
yellow scheme. Classed CA-13 by UP, it had its roofwalk removed
and continued in service through the 1980s.
