heavyweight passenger car is Pullman green with gold lettering
and runs on 4-wheel Commonweath trucks. Built by Pullman in 1913,
this D&RGW baggage-express car frequently saw service in the
Yampa Valley region of Colorado. D&RGW was formed in 1870
and operated the highest mainline railroad in the United States
through the Colorado Rockies at an altitude of 10,240 feet. |
