This
50’ standard box car with 10’ single door, no roofwalk
and short ladders is red with white lettering and runs on Roller
Bearing trucks. Built by Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad,
this car was constructed in 1964 at the Havelock Shops. With
a 4974 cubic foot capacity and a 10’ sliding door, these
cars were ideal for large and bulky loads, such as dried lumber.
