These
50 boxcars with Roller Bearing trucks were built by
Pullman-Standard in the late 1960s and featured a cushioned
underframe and DF loaders. Founded in 1938 through a merger
of the Gulf, Mobile & Northern and the Mobile & Ohio
railroads, GM&O became a medium-sized Class I railroad
with a main line between Mobile, Alabama; Kansas City, Kansas;
and Chicago, Illinois.
