RDC UPDATE
We viewed pre-production samples of all four of the RDC models. A pair were also running around a display layout Kato had at the show. Needless to say, these are the typical Kato quality, they ran extremely well. Kato decided to use a yellow LED for the headlight as this more appropriately represents the type of lights in use when the RDC's were running in the real world. Also present on the model are very small red marker lights on the back end of the model. At present Kato still expected the RDC's to ship on schedule, in October of this year. This should put them in our store late October to early November.

NEW PRODUCT
Cupola Caboose
We viewed a pre-production sample of this caboose. The end handrails and ladder tooling is extremely fine. Assuming they get all the details worked out this caboose will be the first Kato product to sport their new Magnetic coupler.
