News from Kato - PA's are Next
Kato has announced that their next production run will be ALCO PA-1 and PB-1's. Expected delivery is May of this year. These will be released in the following road names:

| Erie Lackawanna - Gray & Maroon |
| New York Central - Lightning Stripe |
| Pennsylvania - Brunswick Green / Five Stripe |
| Southern Pacific - Daylight |
| Union Pacific - Yellow & Gray |
| Wabash - Blue & Gray |
| Undecorated |
Depending on the road name they will be released as individual A-units, A-A sets, & A-B sets. Other expected features are large or small number boards and single or dual headlights again depending on the road name. Kato announced that these would be ready for DCC, my guess is this will be done similar to the C44-9W's. Anticipated retail price is $90-$94 for individual A-units and $180-$184 for two unit sets.
As Kato has done lately we expect these to be another limited run. N Scale Supply will begin taking reservations on these immediately. Our expected price will be around $70 per unit, maybe lower but until we find out the exact retail price and availability through the distribution channel we cannot determine our price yet.
Bachmann Doodlebugs should be arriving later this month. Expected retail price is $60, N Scale Supply price will be around $41. The following road names will be available:

We have finally been able to keep a stock of Chief systems on hand and have a quantity of DZ120 decoders as well. We are desperately trying to stock Big Boy's and other decoders and components. Most orders have been filled at this time, but a few are still awaiting the Big Boy's. Thanks for your patience.
