34’ wood sheathed caboose with slanted cupola

This 34’ wood sheathed caboose with slanted cupola was built in 1925 and runs on Swing Motion trucks. It is painted white with yellow ends, aluminum roof and black and red lettering. In late 1953 the sides of some cabooses were painted white and used as message centers. In 1954 this CA-1 class caboose was selected to carry a holiday message. Well into the 1970s, cabooses were seen with various messages.
